Nellai Drifter is an offline game. It does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal information.
This privacy policy explains how the game Nellai Drifter (“the App”), developed by Neelakandan K of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India, handles your information. It applies to both the Android version and the Windows version of the App.
It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases, and it does not need an internet connection.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
The App does not request any sensitive Android permissions. The release build does not even request the
INTERNET permission, so it cannot send data off your device.
The Windows version also works fully offline and does not send any data off your PC.
2. Information stored on your device
To remember your choices between launches, the App saves a few game settings only on your own device — in Android’s standard app storage (SharedPreferences) on Android, or in the App’s local data folder on Windows:
- Number of laps
- Number of computer cars
- Difficulty level
- Sound on/off and volume
These settings never leave your device. They are deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
3. Sharing of information
We do not share any information with third parties, because we do not collect any.
4. Third-party services
The App does not use any third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, login or tracking services.
When you download the App from Google Play, Google may collect information as described in the Google Privacy Policy. When you download the App from Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. This is handled by Google or Microsoft, not by the App.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
6. Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data of yours held by us that could be exposed. Settings saved on your device are protected by your operating system’s normal app storage protections.
7. Your choices
You can remove all data the App has saved at any time:
- Android: go to Settings → Apps → Nellai Drifter → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the App.
- Windows: if you installed the App from Microsoft Store, go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Nellai Drifter → Advanced options → Reset, or uninstall the App.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same link with a new effective date. If a future version of the App starts collecting any data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
