This privacy policy explains how the app API Tester (“the App”), developed by Neelakandan K of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, India, handles your information. It applies to both the Android version and the Windows version of the App.

The App is an offline-first developer tool. It has no accounts or login, no cloud sync, no in-app purchases, no ads and no analytics. Everything you create in the App stays on your device.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data, and it does not require you to sign in.

The data you create or enter in the App is saved only on your own device, in the App’s private storage (on Windows, the App’s local data folder on your PC). This includes:

3. Network requests you send

The core purpose of the App is to send HTTP/HTTPS requests to the API endpoints you specify. These requests go directly from your device to the server you enter. They do not pass through any server of ours, and we do not monitor, log or track the content of your requests or responses.

The servers you send requests to are not controlled by us. Any data you include in a request (for example API keys, tokens or request bodies) is handled by that server under its own privacy policy.

We do not share any information with third parties, because we do not collect any.

The App does not use any third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, login, cloud storage, payment or tracking services.

When you download the App from Google Play, Google may collect information as described in the Google Privacy Policy. When you download the App from Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. This is handled by Google or Microsoft, not by the App.

7. Payments

The App does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, and it does not collect any payment information.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is a developer tool intended for software professionals and enthusiasts, and it is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no personal data of yours held by us that could be exposed. Data saved on your device is protected by your operating system’s normal app sandbox. We recommend using HTTPS endpoints when sending sensitive data such as API keys or tokens.
